Régions touristiques montagneuses en Malaisie

Highland Tourist Spots in Malaysia

Pour échapper au climat tropical, chaud et humide, présent sur la majorité du pays, beaucoup de malaisiens et de touristes étrangers se rendent dans les régions les plus montagneuses du pays pour chercher un peu de fraîcheur et profiter de splendides paysages !
C'est à ces régions touristiques de montagne ("Pelancongan tanah tinggi" en malais) que la poste malaisienne a consacré une nouvelle série de 4 timbres émis le 21 février 2011.
C'est cette jolie série qui figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous avec timbre à date "1er Jour" de la ville d'Ipoh (État de Perak). Merci beaucoup Kkkhor :-)
To escape the hot and humid tropical climate oberved on the majority of the country, many Malaysians but also foreign tourists are traveling to the most mountainous regions of the country to find a refreshing air and enjoy some beautiful spots !
This is to these Highland tourist places ("Pelancongan tanah tinggi" in Malay) that the Malaysian Post has devoted a new set of four stamps issued on February 21, 2011
It is this nice set that appears on the official FDC below with a FDC postmark from the city of Ipoh (State of Perak). Thank you very much Kkkhor :-)

Le timbre à 50 sen évoque le petit train touristique qui permet d'accéder au sommet de Penang Hill ("Bukit Bendera") culminant à 830 mètres d'altitude, situé à 6 km de George Town (État de Pulau Pinang).
Les "Cameron Highlands" (timbre à 60 sen) sont une des régions montagneuses (1500 mètres) les plus prisées de Malaisie (État de Pahang), avec ses plantations de thé, de fraises ou ses jardins de roses ainsi que ses chutes d'eau.
Le timbre à 90 sen évoque le téléphérique qui permet d'accéder au sommet de la montagne Gunung Mat Cincang située dans le nord-est de l'île Langkawi (État de Kedah) où une splendide vue sur les îles et la Thaïlande voisine est offerte aux touristes.
La région agricole de Kundasang, proche du parc national de Kinabalu (État de Sabah, île de Bornéo) est représentée sur le dernier timbre (1 RM). Le chou, mais aussi la carotte, la tomate, la salade y sont les principaux légumes cultivés.
The 50 sen stamp depicts the tourist train giving access to the top of Penang Hill ("Bukit Bendera"), 830 meters high, located 6 km from George Town (State of Pulau Pinang).
The "Cameron Highlands" (60 sen stamp) are one of the most popular highland retreats (1500 meters) in Malaysia (State of Pahang), with its typical tea plantations, strawberry farms, rose gardens and its waterfalls.
The 90 sen stamp evokes the cable-car that allows access to the top of the mountain Gunung Mat Cincang, located in the northeast of the Langkawi Island (State of Kedah) where a splendid view over the islands and neighboring Thailand is offered to tourists.
The agricultural region of Kundasang, near the Kinabalu National Park (State of Sabah, Borneo) is featured on the last stamp (RM 1.00). Cabbage, but also carrots, tomatoes, salad are the main vegetables cultivated in this place.
