Oeuvres d'Alfons Mucha en république tchèque

As mentioned yesterday, I had the chance to receive several philatelic interest in this beautiful cover sent by the Czech Post !
I wanted to share with you today the two very nice picture prepaid postcards below, issued on June 23, 2010 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous Czech painter and illustrator Alfons Mucha (1860-1939).
The Czech Post had previously issued, one month before (May 26, 2010), a nice set of two self-adhesive stamps devoted to Mucha, already mentioned on this blog.

The first card above is used for priority mail up to 20g to European countries (permanent rate "E", CZK 20.00 now).
The stamp evokes a poster created by Mucha in 1896 at the occasion of the "Salon des Cent", a literary and art exhibition held in Paris, organized by "La Plume", a famous literary journal of the Belle Epoque.

The other side of this card reproduces the upper part of a Mucha's lithograph dating from 1902, entitled "Morning Star".

The stamp included on the second card above reproduces a detail of the left part of a diptych by Mucha dating from 1899, entitled "The Primrose" (the right part being entitled "The Feather").
This card is valid for priority mail up to 20g to non-European countries (permanent rate "Z", CZK 21.00 now).
To note, like on the first card, the presence at the top (under the logo of the Czech Post) of a anti-copying's hologram.
The words "CESKA POSTA - PTC - 2010" are also included in micro-letters at the bottom left of the stamp.

The other side above reproduces a part of the poster designed by Mucha in 1896 to announce an article devoted to the French actress Sarah Bernhardt published in the literary journal "La Plume" mentioned higher up in this article.
