Emission commune Slovaquie/Croatie

Slovakia/Croatia joint stamp issue

Le 28 janvier 1999, les administrations postales de Slovaquie et de Croatie ont émis un timbre commun consacré à Juraj Haulik (1788-1869), une personnalité ecclésiastique et du monde de la culture en Croatie.
Juraj Haulik est né à Trnava (aujourd'hui en Slovaquie) où il a étudié ainsi qu'à Esztergom et à Vienne. Après avoir occupé plusieurs fonctions sacerdotales en Hongrie, il fut nommé évêque puis archevêque de Zagreb respectivement en 1837 et 1852. En 1856, il devient le premier cardinal en Croatie (nommé par le pape Pie IX).
On January 28, 1999, the postal administrations of Slovakia and Croatia issued a joint stamp devoted to Juraj Haulik (1788-1869), an important personality of the Croatian church and culture.
Juraj Haulik was born in Trnava (in Slovakia today) where he studied as well as in Esztergom and Vienna. After holding various priestly functions in Hungary, he was appointed Bishop and Archbishop of Zagreb in 1837 and 1852 respectively.
In 1856, he became the first Cardinal in Croatia (appointed by Pope Pius IX).

C'est la version croate de ce timbre qui figure en 2 exemplaires sur la jolie lettre illustrée ci-dessus postée le 6 février 2012 de la ville d'Opatija.

La version slovaque du même timbre gravé (qui faisait partie d'une série de 3 timbres consacrés à des personnalités) est reproduite sur l'enveloppe à gauche.
A noter que les 2 timbres ont été imprimés par la "Postal Stationery Printing House" à Prague.
Je ne sais pas quel est cet édifice représenté sur ce timbre à droite ?
Pour être complet, Juraj Haulik a également joué un rôle important dans les domaines de l'éducation et de la culture en Croatie, en encourageant l'apprentissage de la langue croate dans les écoles en particulier...
It is the Croatian version of this stamp that appears in two copies on the nice illustrated cover above mailed on February 6, 2012 from the city of Opatija.

The Slovak version of that same engraved stamp (that was part of a set of three stamps devoted to personalities) is reproduced on the envelope to the left.
To note that these two stamps were printed by the "Postal Stationery Printing House" in Prague.
I don't know which building is depicted on this stamp to the right ?
To be complete, Juraj Haulik has also played an important role in the fields of education and culture in Croatia, promoting the study of the Croatian language in schools in particular...
