La poste tchèque a émis, le 16 mai 2012, deux nouveaux timbres consacrés respectivement au canal Baťa (10 Kč) et à une oeuvre du Tintoret conservée dans la château de Prague (30 Kč).
Ces 2 timbres figurent sur cette nouvelle magnifique lettre recommandée ci-dessous postée le 1er jour d'émission de Prague. Merci beaucoup Bret :-)
J'ai déjà évoqué dans un message précédent le TAD spécial utilisé ici, en lien avec l'émission de la carte commémorative consacrée au 800ème anniversaire de la mort de la reine Dagmar du Danemark.
The Czech Post has issued, on May 16, 2012, two new stamps devoted respectively to the Baťa Canal (10 Kč) and to a work by Tintoretto kept in the Prague Castle (30 Kč).
These two stamps are included on this new beautiful registered letter below posted on the first day of issue from Prague. Thank you very much Bret :-)
I've already mentioned in a previous post the special postmark used here in connection with the issue of the commemorative postcard dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the death of Queen Dagmar of Denmark. 
Bret a également utilisé deux autres timbres plus anciens. Celui à 17 Kč a été émis le 18 février 2004 pour annoncer l'organisation d'une exposition européenne de philatélie à Brno en 2005. Ce splendide timbre gravé (par Jaroslav Tvrdon) montre l'église de l'Assomption de la Vierge Marie à Brno, un édifice gothique du 14ème siècle construit principalement à partir de briques.
L'autre timbre (11 Kč), émis le 20 janvier 2008, commémore le 160ème anniversaire de la naissance de Karel Klostermann (1848-1923), poète et écrivain réaliste tchèque d'origine allemande.
Klostermann, surnommé le "poète des montagnes de Šumava", a publié plus de 160 contes et romans (dont "Mlhy na Blatech") évoquant les traditions populaires de cette région du sud de la Bohême.
Bret has also used two other older stamps. The 17 Kč's one was issued on February 18, 2004 to announce the organization of the European Philatelic Exhibition in Brno in 2005. This beautiful engraved stamp (by Jaroslav Tvrdon) shows the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Brno, a 14th century Gothic building built mainly from bricks.
The other stamp (11 Kč), issued on January 20, 2008, commemorated the 160th anniversary of the birth of Karel Klostermann (1848-1923), a Czech poet and writer of German origin.
Klostermann, representative of realism and nicknamed the "poet of the Šumava Mountains", has published over 160 tales and novels (including "Mlhy na Blatech") referring to the popular traditions of this region of South Bohemia.
Bret a eu la gentillesse de m'envoyer également les 2 FDC officiels de la poste tchèque, ci-dessus et ci-dessous, concernant ces 2 nouveaux timbres émis le 16 mai 2012 !
Le timbre ci-dessus, gravé par Miloš Ondráček, reproduit une partie d'une oeuvre du Tintoret (1519-1594) intitulée "La flagellation du Christ" faisant partie des collection du château de Prague (plus de 4000 peintures et dessins).
Le Tintoret fut un des grands peintres italiens de la Renaissance (école vénitienne).
L'illustration sur cette enveloppe à gauche évoque un portrait de femme faisant partie d'une autre oeuvre du Tintoret ("L'Annonciation") alors que le TAD Premier Jour représente un détail du cadre de l'oeuvre reproduite sur ce timbre.

The stamp above, engraved by Miloš Ondráček, reproduces a part of a work by Tintoretto (1519-1594) entitled "The Whipping of Christ" kept in the Prague Castle (a collection of over 4,000 paintings and drawings).
Tintoretto was one of the great Italian painters of the Renaissance (Venetian School).
The illustration on this envelope to the left evokes a portrait of a woman being part of another work by Tintoretto ("The Annunciation") while the FDC cancellation shows a detail of the frame of the work reproduced on that stamp. 
Le 2ème FDC ci-dessus concerne le timbre gravé évoquant le canal Baťa, faisant partie de la série de la poste tchèque consacrée à des monuments techniques.
Ce canal historique de Baťa (52 km, entre Otrokovice et Rohatec) a été construit entre 1935 et 1938 afin de transporter la lignite extraite des mines de Ratiškovice vers l'usine Baťa située à Otrokovice.
Ce canal, passant par la rivière Morava sur 26 km, a été restauré et son parcours (incluant 13 écluses) continue aujourd'hui jusqu'au port de Skalice en Slovaquie. Il est principalement utilisé pour le tourisme fluvial, en particulier à partir du port situé à Veselí nad Moravou, représenté sur ce timbre, où a eu lieu cette émission Premier Jour.
L'illustration à gauche montre un dessin technique d'un édifice construit au bord de ce canal pour charger la lignite, transportée jusque là par des wagons, sur des bateaux.
The second FDC above is about the engraved stamp referring to the Baťa Canal, being part of the series of the Czech Post devoted to technical monuments.
This historic Baťa Canal (52 km long, between Otrokovice and Rohatec) was built from 1935 to 1938 to transport lignite from the Ratiškovice mines to the Baťa factory located in Otrokovice.
This waterway, following the Morava River on 26 km, was restored (including 13 locks) and it continues today to the port of Skalice in Slovakia. It is mainly used for fluvial tourism, especially from the port of Veselí nad Moravou, depicted on this stamp, where took place this First Day of Issue.
The illustration to the left shows a technical drawing of a coal tipper used for the tipping of lignite from wagons to ships.
Ce timbre a été émis en feuille de 30 timbres ainsi que dans un carnet composé de 8 timbres et 4 vignettes.

Une des vignettes évoque ce même édifice consacré au déchargement de la lignite alors que l'autre représente une écluse située à Vnorovy qui a servi pour le transport des bateaux sur la rivière Morava avec, à gauche, une maison typique de gardien d'écluse sur ce canal.
This stamp was issued in sheets of 30 stamps as well as in a booklet of 8 stamps and 4 labels. Bret has also sent me this nice booklet above :-)
One of the labels evokes that same building used to freight lignite on ships while the other one shows a lock located in Vnorovy that served for the transportation of boats across the Morava river with at the left, a typical Baťa house for the lock's attendant. 
La couverture de ce carnet ci-dessus inclut une reproduction de ce timbre à droite ainsi qu'un descriptif (uniquement en tchèque) de ce canal à gauche, illustré par les 2 vignettes du carnet.
