Le 2 janvier 1973, un système instituant des codes postaux (inchangé jusqu'à aujourd'hui à la fois en République Tchèque et en Slovaquie) fut mis en place en Tchécoslovaquie.
Composé de 5 digits sous la forme "XXX XX", le 1er caractère est associé à une région : 1 pour Prague, 2 pour la Bohême centrale, 3 pour l'ouest et le sud de la Bohême... et 8,9 et 0 pour la Slovaquie voisine.
Du 2 au 4 janvier 2013, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation, dans le bureau de poste n°1 de Prague (110 00) un TAD spécial consacré au 40ème anniversaire de l'entrée en vigueur de ces codes postaux.
On January 2, 1973, a system establishing postal codes (unchanged until today in both Czech Republic and Slovakia) was introduced in Czechoslovakia.

From 2 to 4 January 2013, the Czech Post has put into circulation, at the post office 1 in Prague (110 00) a special postmark devoted to the 40th anniversary of the entry into force of these postal codes.

Ce TAD inclut la mention "Výročí 40 let PSČ" ("Anniversaire des 40 ans du PSČ"), PSČ correspondant aux initiales du terme "code postal" en tchèque ("poštovních směrovacích čísel").
Une carte de la République Tchèque est également représentée ainsi que 2 cachets manuels en date 2 janvier 1973 de Prague (110 00) et de Brno (601 00).
Bret a utilisé ci-dessus un entier postal (carte commémorative illustrée), au tarif permanent 'E' (envoi ordinaire de moins de 20g vers les pays européens), émis le 16 mai 2012, commémorant le 800ème anniversaire de la mort de la reine Dagmar du Danemark. J'ai déjà écrit à propos de cet entier postal sur ce blog.
Pour rappel, la reine Dagmar était en fait la princesse Marguerite de Bohême (fille du roi Ottokar Ier de Bohême) et devint reine du Danemark en épousant en 1205 le roi Valdemar II du Danemark.

This cancellation includes the mention "Výročí 40 let PSČ" ("Anniversary of the 40 years of PSČ"), PSČ corresponding to the initial of the words "postal code" in Czech ("poštovních směrovacích čísel").
A map of the Czech Republic is also featured as well as two hand postmarks dated January 2, 1973 from Prague (110 00) and Brno (601 00).
Bret has used above a postal stationery (or commemorative pictured card), at the 'E' permanent rate (ordinary letter up to 20g to European countries), issued on May 16, 2012, commemorating the 800th anniversary of the death of Queen Dagmar of Denmark. I've already written about this postal stationery on this blog.
As a reminder, Queen Dagmar was actually the Princess Margaret of Bohemia (daughter of King Ottokar I of Bohemia) and became Queen of Denmark in 1205 by marrying King Valdemar II of Denmark.
