On January 20, 2015, the Czech Post has released a new booklet (2 x 4 stamps) entitled "They brought freedom" devoted to various military vehicles and aircrafts used during the 2nd World War and having contributed to the victory of allies against Nazi Germany.
This series of 4 self-adhesive stamps (permanent rate "A" - domestic shipment up to 50g, currently 13 CZK) points out that we will commemorate in 2015 the 70th anniversary of the end of the 2nd World War.
A big thank you Bret for this nice letter below, sent by registered mail from Prague on the first day of issue, franked with these 4 stamps :-)

Václav Zapadlík (born in Prague in 1943), famous for his vintage cars drawings and who has designed stamps (cars, motorcycles...) for the Czech Post since 2010, has again drawn 3 of the 4 stamps in this series.
Pavel Sivko (born in Prague in 1948) designed the fourth stamp, depicting a British fighter aircraft Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk IXE, one of the most used single-seat aircrafts by the RAF and the allies during the 2nd World War.
