Installation of the 35th Sultan of Perak, Malaysia

Installation du 35ème sultan de Perak en Malaisie

Le 6 mai 2015, le 35ème sultan ("Duli Yang Maha Mulia") de l'état de Perak (nord-ouest de la péninsule malaise), Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah (né en 1956), a été officiellement installé.
Le règne de Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah avait toutefois débuté le 29 mai 2014, après le décès de son père, Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah, sultan de Perak entre 1984 et 2014.
Ce 6 mai 2015, la poste malaisienne a mis en circulation une série de 3 timbres consacrée à l'installation de ce nouveau sultan.
On May 6, 2015, the 35th Sultan ("Duli Yang Maha Mulia") of the state of Perak (northwest of the Malay Peninsula), Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah (born 1956), was officially installed.
The reign of Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah however had started on May 29, 2014 after the death of his father, Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah, Sultan of Perak between 1984 and 2014.
On this May 6, 2015, the Malaysian Post released a series of three stamps dedicated to the installation of this new Sultan.


Un grand merci Khor pour ce joli pli Premier Jour concernant cette série, avec TAD de Kuala Kangsar (et non Ipoh, la capitale de cet état), la capitale royale de Perak où est situé le palais du sultan (appelé "Istana Iskandariah").
Ce TAD représente les armoiries de l'état de Perak, incluant lui-même les armoiries du sultan (croissant et fleurs de riz).
Le sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah est représenté sur cette série de timbres dans différents costumes officiels (avec également ses attributs royaux comme le kriss ou "poignard malais") et également avec sa (jolie) épouse, Tuanku Zara Salim (née en 1973)...
A big thank you Khor for this nice First Day Cover regarding this series, with FDC cancellations from Kuala Kangsar (rather than Ipoh, the capital of this state), the royal capital of Perak where the sultan's palace (called "Istana Iskandariah") is located.
This postmark shows the coat of arms of the state of Perak, including itself the arms of the Sultan (crescent and rice flowers).
Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah is featured on this stamp series in various official costumes (with also some of his royal attributes such as a kris or "Malay dagger"), and also with his (nice) wife, Tuanku Zara Salim (born in 1973)...
