70th anniversary of United Nations in Belarus

After Moldova, Russia and Tunisia, it is the turn of the Republic of Belarus to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations with a special stamp issued on August 11 2015.
Thank you very much Alexander for this cover sent on November 18, 2015 from Minsk, the capital, franked with two se-tenant copies of that stamp (permanent rate "H" corresponding to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20g abroad, BYR 10,500 currently) !
To note the special postmark of the Minsk central post office (illustrated by a part of the facade of this building constructed between 1949 and 1953).
That stamp (print run : 60,000), designed by Tatyana Kuznetsova, was issued in a sheetlet of 6 stamps and all mentions included on the stamp printed with a slight embossment.

The official logo of this 70th anniversary of the United Nations, the number "70" (with the emblem of the United Nations within the "0") accompanied by the slogan "Strong UN. Better World." (in English here), was also printed with a selective mat varnishing.
I surprisingly found that Belarus, an independent state since 1991 after the breakup of USSR, is nevertheless one of the 51 signatory countries of the UN Charter, on October 24, 1945 in San Francisco !
Belarus is a founding member of the United Nations, without being an independent country at that time...
This decision was taken following negotiations between American and Soviet at the end of the 2nd World War and Belarus, such as Ukraine, had thus one vote in the UN General Assembly (in addition to USSR vote), a sort of reward for outstanding war effort and struggle of the Belarusian people against Nazi Germany...
