Exhibition devoted to engraver Miloš Ondráček at the Postal Museum in Prague

On September 15, 2016, the Czech Post had already put into circulation a postmark dedicated to the 80th anniversary (to the day) of the birth of famous Czech engraver Miloš Ondráček (born in Prague in 1936).
In more than 40 years, Miloš Ondráček has engraved nearly 500 stamps for Czechoslovakia and then Czech Republic (around 200) and Slovakia, as well as an American stamp and also many banknotes.
From 22 September 2016 to 26 February 2017, the Postal Museum in Prague is organizing an exhibition dedicated to Miloš Ondráček and especially his many works of art engraved on stamps.

On the occasion of this exhibition entitled "Miloš Ondráček - Umění na známce" ("Miloš Ondráček - Arts on Stamps"), the Czech Post has released the postal stationary above (permanent rate "E" for a shipment up to 50g in Europe, currently 27 CZK).
Thank you very much Slavek for this shipment canceled with the special postmark put into circulation on September 24, 2016, mentioning that same exhibition !
This cancellation, designed by Miloš Ondráček himself, mentions the title of this exhibition as well as a snail (I do not know the meaning and the link with this engraver ?).
At this exhibition, visitors can admire engravings of the greatest painters such as El Greco, Dürer, Van Gogh, Gauguin or Cranach with this portrait of young woman (to the left in this postal stationary) kept at the National Gallery of Prague, reproduced on a Czechoslovak stamp issued in 1977.
