"25th Anniversary of the Republic" stamps on cover from Mauritius

On 12 March 1992, 24 years after independence, Mauritius officially became a Republic within the Commonwealth of Nations, the last Governor General Sir Veerasamy Ringadoo (who represented the Queen of the United Kingdom since 1986) becoming the first President of the Republic, to be replaced by Cassam Uteem, democratically elected 3 months later.
Mauritius is a parliamentary Republic with only one chamber (national assembly) and a government headed by a Prime Minister who actually holds the executive power.
25 years to the day after this proclamation of the Republic, the Mauritian Post released on March 12, 2017, a stamp (25 Rs) devoted to this anniversary.

It is that stamp which was used in two copies on the letter above, sent on March 31, 2017 from the post office of Union Flacq (or Flic en Flac ?). Thank you very much Tristan!
I really like the sobriety of that stamp (printed by Cartor), featuring the coat of arms of the country on a white background, with the 4 colors (red, blue, yellow, green) of the national flag in the lower part.
Adopted in 1906, these coats of arms feature a shield flanked by a dodo on the left and a sambar deer on the right, as well as 2 sugar cane plants and the motto of the country in Latin at the bottom ("Stella Clavisque Maris Indici" or "Star and Key of the Indian Ocean").
The other stamp (14 Rs) is part of a series of 3 stamps, issued on April 19, 2014, devoted to the flora and fauna of the country, to a Rodrigues flying fox (Pteropus rodricensis) here, a threatened giant bat species (population estimated at only 350 individuals living in the wild), endemic to Rodrigues, one of three islands of the Mascarene archipelago (with Mauritius and Réunion).
