EUROPA 2017 (Castles) stamp set on cover from Croatia

On May 9, 2017, the Europe Day, the Croatian Post has put into circulation a nice EUROPA series consisting of two stamps devoted this year to the theme of the castles ("dvorci" in Croatian), in particular to Trakošćan and Veliki Tabor castles.
These two stamps (HRK 7.60, print run : 300,000 each), designed by Dean Roksandić from Boris Krstinić's aerial photographs, each printed in sheet of 16 stamps, were used to frank the pretty letter below sent on May 25, 2017 from Rijeka. Thank you very much Dragan!
These two castles have the particularity of being both located in the traditional region of Hrvatsko Zagorje (northwest of the country), forming part of the system of fortifications along the border with Slovenia.

Veliki Tabor castle, built at the beginning of the 16th century, was marked for almost three centuries by the noble Hungarian-born family Rattkay who owned it.
This fortified enclosure (pentagonal plan with its impressive central keep) is today one of the finest examples of late medieval castle in Croatia, whose complete restoration was finished in 2011. This castle houses a museum since 1981.
Trakošćan castle whose first foundations date from the 13th century, is today an example of the romantic perception of the architecture of Central Europe from the middle of the 19th century.
Its appearance in the middle of a forest park indeed makes it a symbol of romanticism and one of the most famous manors in Croatia, with its Gothic (14th century), Renaissance and Baroque (16th to 18th Century) and neo-Gothic (19th century) architectural elements.
This site belonged to the Drašković family (one of the oldest Croatian noble families) for nearly 400 years, who turned it into a manor house at the end of the 19th century (the first restoration of this type in Croatia).
