"Rivers in Malaysia" stamp set on FDCs sent from Bukit Mertajam

On February 27, 2018, the Malaysian Post issued a very nice series (2 stamps + 1 miniature sheet) devoted to the 3 longest rivers in the country: Rajang (state of Sarawak), Kinabatangan (state of Sabah) and Pahang (state of Pahang).
For centuries, Malaysia's rivers have been an integral part of the country's culture and economic development. Rivers are important to Aboriginal communities as an integral part of their identity.
Rivers in Malaysia account for 98% of the country's water supply and are therefore need to be protected from pollution and risk of drying up.

A big thank you Khor for having sent me these two beautiful FDCs respectively concerning the miniature sheet and the two stamps, with postmarks from Bukit Mertajam (state of Penang)!
The miniature sheet above (RM 8), the longest (180mm x 60mm) ever issued in Malaysia, is dedicated to the Rajang River (Sarawak, Borneo Island), the longest in the country (563 km).
This miniature sheet is spectacular with this very long stamp (160mm x 30mm) and this original cut of the top margin!
The route of this river is represented on the right as well as emblematic animal and plant species of this region of the country: Irrawaddy dolphin (Orcaella brevirostris), a species of fish Empurau (Tor tambroides, the most expensive edible fish of the country ), estuary crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), Proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus), rhinoceros hornbill (Buceros rhinoceros) or the orchid Papilionanthe hookeriana.

The two stamps of this series above are dedicated to the Kinabatangan River (Sabah State, 80 sen) and the Pahang River (Pahang State, 60 sen).
The routes of these two rivers are also featured on these two stamps with the location of the main cities, as well as an aerial view of a part of each river.
On the stamp depicting the Pahang River (459 km), the longest river of the Malay Peninsula, boats of agricultural and fish merchants are included on the right, recalling the economic role of this river.
Eco-tourism is developing along this river as well as in the Kinabatangan River area (560 km) in the eastern part of the state of Sabah, whose basin is home to many unique plant and animal species (8 species of hornbills, saltwater crocodiles, Bornean orangutans, Proboscis monkeys, Borneo pygmy elephants...).

I like the back of these envelopes above allowing to easily identify the location of these 3 rivers in the territory of Malaysia (Malay Peninsula to the left and north of the island of Borneo to the right).
The flags of the 3 states concerned (Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak) are also represented.
