La poste croate a poursuivi en 2012 sa série consacrée aux minéraux et roches.
Après la pierre de Brač et l'agate de Lepoglava en 2010, un nouveau bloc-feuillet de 2 timbres ronds a été donc été émis le 24 octobre 2012, consacré cette fois à la roselite et au granit.
C'est ce bloc (tirage : 30000), conçu par Željko Kovačić, qui figure sur la lettre ci-dessous postée le 4 mars 2013 d'Opatija. Merci beaucoup Dragan :-)
A noter que ce bloc, à l'aspect brillant, inclut des mentions écrites avec un revêtement argenté et que les 2 timbres comportent un léger relief pour mettre en valeur la roche représentée.
The Croatian Post has continued in 2012 its series devoted to minerals and rocks.
After the stone of Brač and the agate of Lepoglava in 2010, a new souvenir sheet of two round-shaped stamps was therefore issued on October 24, 2012, devoted this time to Roselite and Granite.
It is that sheet (print run : 30,000), designed by Željko Kovačić, that was used on the cover below mailed on March 4, 2013 from Opatija. Thank you very much Dragan :-)
To note that this sheet, with a glossy aspect, includes some mentions written with a silver coating and that the two stamps have a slight embossment to highlight the rocks depicted.
La roselite est une pierre utilisée dans la construction de maison en Croatie, en particulier à Zagreb et en Dalmatie.
Cette roche est extraite de la carrière de Pakovo Selo, une des localités faisant partie de la municipalité de Drniš située en Dalmatie dans le sud-est du pays.
L'autre timbre est consacré à un type de granit appelé Zebrato, également utilisé en architecture, extrait uniquement en Croatie à Ravna Gora, dans le massif de Papuk, en Slavonie (nord-est du pays).
Roselite is a stone used in the construction of houses in Croatia, in particular in Zagreb and Dalmatia.
This rock is quarried from Pakovo Selo, one of the towns belonging to the municipality of Drniš located in Dalmatia in south-eastern Croatia.
The other stamp is dedicated to one type of granite called Zebrato, also used in architecture, extracted only in Croatia in Ravna Gora, in the massive of Papuk in Slavonia (north-eastern Croatia).
